PM&R ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC DAY

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, cordially invites you to attend the 13th Annual Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Scientific Day and Phala A. Helm, MD Distinguished Lectureship that will be held May 13, 2011

This program features some of the top physicians who specialize in technology & biomedical engineering rehabilitation. This program will also explore virtual reality in the rehabilitation of patients with chronic disabling conditions and to encourage furthering of research in the areas of telerehabilitation and assisted mobility. This program will also showcase the research performed by residents and fellows in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation@UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Boninger will present this year's  Phala A. Helm, MD Distinguished Lectureship as the highlight of the scientific day.  Dr. Boninger is a Professor & the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a world-renowned leader in rehabilitation, with over 150 scientific publications.
