Our outpatient Hematology Oncology clinic is located on the UT Southwestern Medical School North Campus. The 3500 sq. ft. space features state-of-the-art equipment and top-notch support from highly trained professionals. Our staff is caring and compassionate and delivers the highest level of service to our patients.
In addition to our outpatient clinics, Zale Lipshy University Hospital and St. Paul University Hospital house our inpatient facilities.

Obtaining An Appointment
Primary care physicians generally refer patiens to the center, but patients may refer themselves. For general information and patient appointments, call 214-645-HOPE (4673) or 866-460-HOPE (4673). Insurance and medical records information is requested from new patients and an appointment is scheduled within a few days of referral.
Patient Evaluation
Patient evaluation includes a complete medical history, a physical examination, and a review of past medical records, including pathology slides and X-ray films.
As an integral part of the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center patients referred to our clinic also receive access to multimodality treatment planning and programs; consultative and simple or sophisticated therapeutic services involving surgery, radiation and chemotherapy; clinical research trials of new cancer therapies; and clinical cancer genetics.

Office Hours And Locations
The Hematology Oncology Clinic is open from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday. The clinic is located on the second floor of the Seay Biomedical Building, 2201 Inwood Road, on UT Southwestern's North Campus. Our facilities include an on-site Pharmacy and Chemotherapy Information Center.

For After-Hours Calls And Emergency Care
If you have an urgent problem or feel you need to see your physician immediately, please call the clinic as early as possible at 214-645-HOPE (4673). From the automated voice menu, select option 3. A nurse will speak with you about a plan for your care and make the necessary arrangements.
If you have an urgent problem after hours, on weekends, or on holidays, call (214) 645-HOPE (4673). The answering service will contact the doctor-on-call and give her or him your telephone number. The doctor-on-call will phone you back in order to address your concern.
If you have a problem that you feel is life threatening, call 911 immediately and go to the nearest emergency room. Regardless of the emergency room you go to, tell the staff physician that you are a patient of UT Southwestern and would like to be transported to a UT Southwestern-affiliated hospital when you are stable. The physician treating you will notify the Hematology Oncology doctor-on-call, who will arrange your transfer if you need to be admitted for further care.
Guest And Patient Services

Parking Information
Valet parking is offered at the main entrance of the Seay Biomedical Building for a fee. Complimentary self-parking is available for Hematology Oncology Clinic patients across Harry Hines from the James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center, 5323 Harry Hines Blvd., in the lot marked “Hospital Parking.” A complimentary shuttle service transports patients between a covered shelter in the parking lot and the Aston Center. Then another complimentary shuttle transports patients to the Seay Building.
