These systems allow faculty and staff to create department web pages and sites, create online faculty profiles, or to submit Research Administration forms and Agency grants (NIH, AHA, Welch). We work very closely with faculty, staff, and institutional resources to provide Information Technology solutions to business problems. The UT Southwestern CMA system allows users with basic word processing skills to create and manage web pages for their departments through our web-based system.
Faculty Information System/Faculty Directory (FIS)
The Faculty Directory and Find a Doctor systems increase the visibility of faculty and their interests on the UT Southwestern website and other third party search engines such as Google. Most faculty and physicians are found by name in the top five results listed within search engines.

Electronic Research Grant Organizer (ERGO)
ERGO is a custom built Web-based system that allows forms and/or grants to be submitted electronically through institutional processes and to granting agencies (ex. NIH, Welch Foundation, American Heart Association).
The system is designed to be paperless, but forms can be dynamically created in both Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word RTF file formats to meet strict print requirements.
The tracking system allows content authors and approvers to visually watch their forms
move through institutional approval processes.
ERGO aggregates content from various institutional repositories including both relational databases and mainframes to populate known information about faculty into forms.

Faculty Research Interests Search
Web Services worked with faculty to create a new Faculty Research Interest Application to promote the research interests of faculty at UT Southwestern. This application allows faculty to search by research interest and view all the faculty at UT Southwestern who have the same research interests.
