The Southwestern Center for Breast Care offers comprehensive multidisciplinary services for the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast conditions, including digital and film-screen mammography and ultrasonic imaging, risk assessment for inheritable familial breast cancer, genetic counseling, and full surgical services with sentinel lymph node mapping and an emphasis on breast conservation procedures for the treatment of cancer.  The center includes diagnostic radiologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and plastic and reconstructive surgeons.  Psychosocial supportive services are available.  Also offered are the evaluation and treatment of lymphedema.  Investigational options are often available to patients who may benefit from a promising new therapy and those who have exhausted conventional therapies.
