Target Audience: UT Southwestern faculty, fellows, residents, students, community physicians, nurse clinicians, physician assistants, nurses, and staff.
   
Purpose & Content: Scholarly presentation in hypertension or disciplines related to cardiovascular disease.
   
Educational Objectives: (1) To review clinical and research topics in hypertension with specific attention to reviewing recent literature regarding advances in diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
(2) To review clinical topics in areas outside of hypertension that impact on our patient population.
 
Accreditation: The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
   
Credit Designation: The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
   
Off-Label Uses: Because this course is meant to educate physicians with what is currently in use and what may be available in the future, there may be "off-label" use discussed in the presentation.  Speakers have been requested to inform the audience when off-label use is discussed.
