Monday - Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

The Surplus Warehouse is open to university employees and public school employees to look for unclaimed surplus equipment on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. or by appointment. These hours are also available for general public customers who have come to look at specific items that are on a current auction.

Acquiring Surplus Items from the Warehouse:
Available items may be viewed on site by the schedule listed above or online at E-Surplus from the first to the middle of the month.  Those items are available to only authorized entities (university departments, public schools, Texas governmental entities, and authorized non-profit organizations).  In all cases, if an item is to be claimed, contact the warehouse supervisor in person or by phone to reserve the item.  Customers will likely be required to personally look at the item to verify that the item is desired (pictures don't reveal faults/damages to the equipment).  Items will be held for seven (7) calendar days for non-university authorized entities, and will be delivered within that time frame for university departments.

General public acquiring surplus university equipment:
Surplus items not re-distributed to an authorized entity as described above will be moved to an online public auction from the middle of the month to the end of the month. Bids to purchase the items online can be submitted via the online auction web site at Shattuck & Associates Auctioneers.

Surplus Equipment Pickup Request:
University departments having surplus equipment may request that the warehouse pickup the equipment by submitting a Warehouse Pickup Form.  Warehouse personnel will arrange for pickup of equipment.  Please allow two weeks for request to be processed.
