Internet Services is constantly creating new systems and updating current ones so that UT Southwestern Medical Center is always on the forefront of technology.
Below is a list of systems that we have developed and released to the UT Southwestern Community:
The Content Management Application (CMA) allows university offices and departments to create webpages that adhere to the high standards set by UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. It is an application developed by our staff to allow people without web page design experience to create functional, user friendly webpages for their departments.
For training on how to use this application contact Melissa Manuel at 214-648-6484.
The Faculty Information System/Faculty Directory Editor (FIS) is used to create and edit faculty profiles that are posted on the UT Southwestern website. It allows faculty members topost information about themselves for easier communication with peers, students and patients.
For training on how to use this application contact Melissa Manuel at 214-648-6484.
The Electronic Research Grant Organizer (ERGO) is a unique tool that faculty and staff can use to create and organize grants electronically. With this program, grants are electronically generated and are able to go through to the Office of Grants Management for approval using an efficient paperless workflow. This application is gaining national recognition and, we hope, it will help to set the standard for grant writing and submission in the future.
