Behind UT Southwestern Medical Center stand hundreds of dedicated health professionals who focus on providing the best clinical care possible for our patients. This standard of care can be seen in all our clinical practices.

  • A woman's health needs vary throughout her lifetime. At UT Southwestern, we address these changing needs in our clinics and centers including the Lowe Foundation Center for Women's Preventative Health Care, the
UT Southwestern Center for Breast Care, women's heart disease, our Maternal-Fetal Medicine Clinic located at University Hospitals in the St. Paul building and others. Whether the issue is pregnancy, hormone replacement therapy, breast cancer risk assessment or other ob/gyn issues, UT Southwestern's health professionals focus on preventative care - both the physical and the psychological.

  • The Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center offers patients some of the most advanced diagnosis, treatment, research and prevention strategies possible, bringing UT Southwestern physicians from multiple medical specialties to work together on the best treatment for each patient. This allows us to give personalized and convenient care with creation of a comprehensive treatment plan.

  • UT Southwestern's Moncrief Cancer Resources is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides patient support services to cancer patients and their families in Tarrant and surrounding counties.  Moncrief Cancer Resources also offers access to advanced clinical trials of new cancer treatments, sophisticated cancer diagnostic tests, genetic screening and counseling, public education, social and nutritional services, programs to help patients and families learn how to cope with cancer, advanced pain management services and other referral services for cancer patients.  These activities are coordinated with the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
  • Cardiologists in UT Southwestern's Clinical Heart Center treat 600 patients monthly, offering the most sophisticated noninvasive diagnostic tests, including the latest advances in electrocardiograms, exercise stress testing and echocardiography.

  • A revolutionary cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device is allowing our physicians to diagnose cardiovascular disease and arteriosclerosis earlier than ever before and to initiate life-saving therapy sooner.

  • Considered one of the top stroke centers in the United States, Southwestern Medical Center has earned its reputation by offering comprehensive stroke treatment and achieving the lowest patient mortality rate of any Texas medical center.

  • University Hospitals is one of the world's premier neurological treatment centers and the first site to use the Toshiba Biplane Neuro-Vascular System to detect and repair blocked arteries and aneurysms.

  • UT Southwestern's Clinical Center for Movement Disorders incorporates the latest medical breakthroughs into leading-edge care. Our patients benefit from a variety of state-of-the-art treatments for Parkinson's available at only a few medical centers in the country.
  • UT Southwestern/St. Paul Heart and Lung Transplant Program - where more than 300 heart and 100 lung transplants have been performed - is among the top 10 nationally in survival rates and No. 1 in Texas.
