What payment methods are accepted? Interdemartmental Requisition (IDR, for internal department payments), Visa, Mastercard, or check (made out to "UTSW").

Can I take/attend a course without being admitted in a program? Yes, as long as you are affiliated with UT Southwestern or one of our affiliated institutions. Please contact the Department of Clinical Sciences for requirements and instructions.

How long is the program? The required number of hours and estimated length of time in each program can vary, but general guidelines can be viewed by clicking here.

Will my prior course credits transfer? Potentially. Prior course work is evaluated on an individual basis by the program directors, mentors, and counselors. Criteria could include when the prior course was taken, the grade, and the relevance to the program or course. Official transcripts will be required in order to approve all acceptable transfer credits.

What percentage of protected time will the program require? 50-75%, click here for master's degree specifications or here for clinical research scholars program.

Is there a maximum number of course credits I can take per semester? All members of the faculty are limited to 6 credit hours during the Fall and Spring Semesters and 4 hours during the Summer semester. Additional limits may apply, please contact one of the course administrators for additional information.
