Application Deadline for the Medical Technology Program*

       Summer Admission: FEBRUARY 1st

       Summer Admission for the Medical Technology Certificate Program: MARCH 1st

* Evaluation of transcripts and obtaining other documents may require extra time, so apply early! Applications in process by the deadline date will continue to be processed. 

 

Application Process for the Medical Technology Program

  • Complete an on-line application at  https://sws004.swmed.edu/ahwebapp/
  • Submit a filing fee ($10) as specified with the application.
  • Supply three (3) letters of recommendation from any of the following sources: undergraduate advisors or college instructors and/or professors, employer or volunteer supervisor.  These letters should be sent directly to the U.T. Southwestern Admissions Office by the author.
  • Have official transcripts of all previous college work sent directly to the U.T. Southwestern Admissions Office.

International Applicants:

  • Transcripts of records from all universities outside the United States must be independently evaluated with subject, grade, and grade-point average breakdowns.  Transcripts must also be translated into English.  Evaluations must be sent directly to the U.T. Southwestern Admissions Office.

  • All applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL).  TOEFL scores must be sent directly to the U.T. Southwestern Admissions Office.
