Most students are interested in the Blood Bank Technology Program because they would like to expand their career opportunities, as well as their knowledge, in the field of Transfusion Medicine.  Most students are certified medical technologists.  Since the program was reactivated in 1993, students have taken on-campus classes and been instructed in the online didactic courses which are convenient for the working technologist who may not live near an accredited Blood Bank Technology Program.  Below is a specific profile of the students previously completed the on campus program.
