THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SOUTHWESTERN MEDICAL CENTER AT DALLAS
ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
DIVISION OF BURN TRAUMA CRITICAL CARE

The Division is seeking a surgeon at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.  Parkland Memorial Hospital is an ACS Level 1 Trauma Center with over 5,000 trauma admissions per year.  The SICU admits over 3,000 patients to a unit staffed by the members of the Division, all of whom have added qualifications in surgical critical care.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and a demonstrated and clear commitment to research. He or she will be provided with ample protected time and resources to develop their career as an investigator.  Responsibilities include research, sharing call on trauma and emergency surgery service that perform over 50 operations a week, critical care, and resident and student education.
