THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SOUTHWESTERN MEDICAL CENTER AT DALLAS
CHAIR, DIVISION OF COLORECTAL SURGERY

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is inviting applications for the position of Chair of the Division of Colorectal Surgery. Candidates must be board certified in colorectal surgery and be eligible for faculty appointment at the level of Associate Professor or Professor. Candidates should have a national reputation as an outstanding surgeon, have a solid record of academic productivity, and be experienced in postgraduate education. Evidence of administrative responsibility is desirable. The colorectal surgery program has a long tradition of excellence within the Department of Surgery. The program oversees an accredited colorectal residency, and busy colorectal services already exist in two of the four institutional hospitals. We are expanding program into a division to support growth in areas such as colorectal cancer, sphincter saving surgery, GI motility, and inflammatory bowel disease. The new division has strong institutional support and will have significant resources for recruiting and expanding the clinical practice. Qualified applicants are requested to send their curriculum vitae and a letter of interest to:
