Grand Rounds are held each Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. in room D1.602 at the Medical School from September to June.  July and August are devoted to a Basic Science Review for all residents.  Once a month, Grand Rounds are devoted to Chairman’s Rounds, at which time, interesting cases are presented by the residents followed by a discussion session.

Surgical Grand Rounds are approved for one hour of Category I continuing medical education credit.  CME certificates are mailed annually from the UT Southwestern Medical Center office of Continuing Medical Education to all participants.

If you wish to be placed on the mailing list for the monthly grand rounds mail-out, please contact Judy Craig in the Surgery Education Office at 214-648-3515.
