In order to save files to the database you must have Microsoft Access installed on your computer.  Running CG_Setup should automatically configure your MS Access ODBC driver to establish communication with the database. If you have Microsoft Access installed and are still having difficulty accessing the database you will have to reconfigure your ODBC driver manually as follows:

Open the control panel by selecting "Settings" after clicking the "Start" button.

Double click "32bit ODBC"

Select "Add"

Select Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)

Select "Finish"

Type CageneX in the Data Source Name file.  (The "X" should be the version number of the CaGene.mdb you are trying to communicate with).

Click the "Select" button and then use the browser that appears to select cageneX.mdb in the "Care_X" folder.  (Again, the "X" is the version number you are working with. e.g. cagene5.mdb)

Click "OK"
