CONTINGENCY/SUPPLEMENTAL STAFFING
During peak cycles you may request temporary staff with a variety of skills and experience to assist you. This is usually “planned” time with an opportunity to assist with the selection process.
For unplanned time off, with a 24-hour notice, the UT Southwestern Temps office can assist you with office and administrative coverage.
TRAINING PROGRAMS
For entry level positions with frequent turnover a planned float pool of supplemental staff my be desirable. The staff selected will meet minimal requirements for the position. Through a combination of both classroom teaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training, these programs provide an opportunity for management to “grow your own” and prepare for future needs and departmental growth.
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT COORDINATION
HIGH SCHOOL - The high school student co-ops are coordinated through their school instructors or counselors responsible for work/study programs.
COLLEGE - Students seeking to gain experience in their field of study. The college students work throughout the year but are most plentiful during the summer months.
