5th Annual Postdoctoral Research Symposium
Award for Excellence in Postdoctoral Research
This is the inaugural year for the Award for Excellence in Postdoctoral Research. Criteria for the award included the scholar’s creativity, productivity, and presentation skills, his or her research project’s probable scientific impact, originality, and potential to set a continuing research path. The award includes a check for $2000, a framed certificate, and the prestige of presenting the award winning research at the University Lecture on December 12, 2007. The 2007 winner of the Award for Excellence in Postdoctoral Research was:
