Patient populations at this clerkship site are ethnically and socioeconomically diverse. They seek care for a variety of medical problems, which represent the spectrum of care from newborns to geriatrics. The number of patients seen per day ranges from 30 to 40. Lab, x-ray, colposcopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and rhinoscopy are available on site. Patients requiring hospitalization are admitted to Parkland Memorial Hospital, Children’s Medical Center, St. Paul University Medical Center or Zale Lipshy University Hospital.

From the Butler Street entrance to the main campus, go north on Harry Hines. Turn left at the second stop light, which is Exchange Park. There will be a three-story red brick building on the left (CB1 on map) and a two-story red brick building on the right (CB2 on map). Enter the building on the left (CB1) through the back door. Walk up the hallway in front of you. The first door (glass) on your right will take you into the Student Education area.
