The Family Medicine Clerkship will expose you to patients in an ambulatory care setting.   Because the range of patients seen in this setting is quite broad, your reading should reflect this diversity.  Listed below are the recommended books for the Family Medicine Clerkship.  You will find these books helpful throughout the rotation and in preparing for the clerkship exam.  While a reference library will be available at your clerkship site and on reserve at the UT Southwestern library, students are responsible for purchasing their own texts.
