Urinary incontinence isn’t fatal.

Yet many women feel as if they

might die of embarrassment just

by talking about it.

Rather than asking for help, they will live with a problem that comes unexpectedly with each cough, sneeze, or laugh. They may give up long walks, marathon bridge games, or any event where there may be a long wait for the ladies’ restroom. Incontinence is often a quality of life issue.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

At UT Southwestern’s Bladder and Incontinence Treatment Center, a team of physicians offers women with incontinence the most effective and advanced treatments available. Some of these treatments are offered at only a few medical institutions in the world.

Specialists at our center draw on their extensive experience while working with each patient to determine what kind of exercise, medication, surgery, or other therapy is best for her. Our goal is to find the optimal approach toward giving her control over her life. At UT Southwestern, we are improving the quality of our patients’ lives.
