Click on this link for information on Emergency Medical Technician Program.  An EMT is trained to offer pre-hospital emergency care at a basic level to emergency patients.  

Click on this link for information on Paramedic Certificate . Paramedic training is designed to prepare individuals to provide advanced pre-hospital care to emergency patients. Information sessions for the paramedic program are available (required if you enroll in a paramedic class) on the following dates:

June 11, 2008 at 3:00pm

June 25, 2008 at 3:00pm

These sessions will be held in our classroom at Exchange Park (6300 Harry Hines, basement of the Chase building.)

Certificates for both programs are awarded on completion. Career options are available in both urban and rural settings, primarily in conjunction with fire departments, private ambulances or other rescue services.
