Click on this link for information on Emergency Medical Technician Program.  An EMT is trained to offer pre-hospital emergency care at a basic level to emergency patients.  

Click on this link for information on Paramedic Certificate . Paramedic training is designed to prepare individuals to provide advanced pre-hospital care to emergency patients. You are required to attend an information session if you are to enroll in one of our paramedic courses.  The following dates are available for students interested in the April 2010 paramedic class:

December 9, 2009 at 3:00pm

December 16, 2009 at 3:00pm

These sessions will be held in the basement of the Chase Bank building at Exchange Park (which is now called the Bass Center).  The physical location is 6300 Harry Hines Boulevard, Dallas, Texas, 75235. 

Certificates for both programs are awarded on completion. Career options are available in both urban and rural settings, primarily in conjunction with fire departments, private ambulances or other rescue services.
