Mary Nell and Ralph B. Rogers Magnetic Resonance Center (Rogers MRI)


The Mary Nell and Ralph B. Rogers Magnetic Resonance Center (Rogers MRI) employs the latest Imaging and Diagnostic Technology. With state of the art imaging equipment and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the Rogers MRI Center offers patients a supportive environment dedicated to all their MRI imaging needs.

The Mary Nell and Ralph B. Rogers Magnetic Resonance Center is located at 2201 Inwood Rd., on UT Southwestern's North Campus. Rogers MRI Center offers magnetic resonance imaging, MR Spectroscopy, MR Angiography and Cardiac MR.

Special information: The following patients require discussion with MR center personnel prior to scheduling:

  • patients with cardiac pacemakers,
  • patients with cerebral aneurysm clips,
  • patients with cochlear implants,
  • patients with metal fragments in the eye,
  • patients who might be pregnant,
  • patients who are nursing,
  • patients with implanted nerve, muscle, or bone stimulation wires. 

Children may require sedation and therefore should not be allowed to eat or drink anything for four hours prior to the procedure.

From North of Dallas:

Take I-35E SOUTH to Inwood Rd / Southwestern Medical Center - Exit Number 432A. Turn LEFT on Inwood. Turn LEFT at 2201 Inwood Rd.

From South of Dallas:

Take I-35E NORTH to Inwood Rd / Southwestern Medical Center - Exit Number 432A. Turn RIGHT on Inwood. Turn at 2201 Inwood Rd.

From East of Dallas:

Take I-30W towards Dallas. Take ramp onto I-35E North / Denton. Exit Inwood Rd / Southwestern Medical Center - Exit Number 432A. Turn RIGHT on Inwood. Turn LEFT at 2201 Inwood Rd.

From West of Dallas via Highway 183:

Take Highway 183 (Airport Freeway) towards Dallas. Merge onto I-35E South. Exit Inwood Rd / Southwestern Medical Center – Exit Number 432A). Turn LEFT at 2201 Inwood Rd.
