The Eating Disorders Service offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and related disorders. The child and adolescent program includes an innovative continuum of care and research into outcomes as measured by a "value compass." Genetic research includes a research for susceptibility genes in "informative" families with multiple cases of these disorders. A multi-disciplinary treatment approach is utilized with an emphasis on intensive outpatient group treatment where possible in order to minimize the need for more restrictive levels of care.
