Target Audience: Practicing physicians, faculty, residents, students, psychology trainees, nurses, mental health professionals; Methods: Lecture - demonstration and question-and-answer period; Concept: Scholarly presentation in psychiatry or disciplines related to psychiatry; Goals: Inform audience of new research and clinical work relevant to psychiatry in order to enhance clinical work, research and education; Objectives: At the conclusion of the program, participants should be able to: 1) Discuss recent clinical and research advances in various areas of psychiatry; 2) Be knowledgeable about and apply current treatment approaches to their clinical practices.

Accreditation: The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians; Credit Designation: The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 credits in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
