Our third Doctor of Physical Therapy class has completed their initial semester of physical therapy school and is looking forward to a well deserved break and coming back for their first fall semester.

The DPT Class of 2010 has completed their second summer semester and are looking forward to the fall semester curriculum including Musculoskeletal Patient Management II (Spine), Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Patient Management, Neuromuscular Patient Management, and Medical Practice Management.

The first DPT class (the Class of 2009) is now on their final clinical rotation before graduation in December.  While the majority of students chose to do their internships in Texas, you will find UTSW PT students in Alaska, Washington State, Missouri, and Louisiana.

Congratulations to Dr. Patti Blau on being name the new Vice Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy!  Dr. Blau succeeds Dr. Patricia Smith who became the department's Chair at the end of March.
