Inpatient and Outpatient Nurses
The nursing staff is fully trained in oncology, blood and marrow stem cell transplantation and chemotherapy administration.
Physicians’ Assistant and Nurse Practitioner
These individuals have had additional training in hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplantation and serve to assist the physicians in day-to-day management of patients.
Pharmacist
A pharmacist participates in daily evaluation of the patient, helping ensure that all medications are given safely and effectively.
Dietician
Specially-trained dieticians are available in the inpatient and outpatient areas to ensure that all of the patients’ dietary needs are met.
Occupational and Physical Therapy
These individuals work with the patients to help maintain their strength during the hospital stay.
Chaplain
Clergy are available 24 hours per day and routinely visit patients to ensure that the patients’ spiritual needs are being addressed.
