Admissions

In addition to essential functions for all students, each student in the Gerontology Program must be able to:

• Demonstrate sufficient problem-solving skills to lear to evaluate multifactorial administrative issues, including financial, regulatory, legal, ethical, and health-care aspects.
• Demonstrate sufficient problem-solving skills to learn to direct staff in responding appropriately to all situations, which may include significant time constraints or significant immediate risks to the health or well-being of residents or staff.
