It is the goal of the Occupational Health Department to achieve 100% compliance with annual TB Screening, UT Southwestern Medical Center will now conduct annual TB screens in the 60-day period from August 1 through September 30. This is a change from the previous system, which was based on anniversary date/credential date.
During this 60-day period, each clinical* employee should be able to provide proof they have received a TB skin test or must have a skin test placed and read. To speed the record-keeping process, it will be necessary for employees to know their Person ID Number.
| When and where is the test offered? |
| TB screens will be conducted within each clinical area and at the Occupational Health office on the first floor of the St. Paul building. Readings will be done two days following testing in each clinical area. Designated readers in each clinic may read skin tests. Individuals reading skin tests will be responsible for recording the results on the new form and faxing the documentation to the Occupational Health Department.

OR
