Service Projects

The Center allows use of its instrumentation where time permits to faculty members in the local area. In contrast to Collaboration Projects, participants are expected to have full knowledge of the use of the instrumentation and require little interaction with Center personnel.

Examples of Service Projects currently in progress:

  • MR Measurement of tumor pH, pO2 and vascularity in vivo and related projects

  • Glucoregulatory peptide hormones

  • Intermediary metabolism in the heart by NMR

  • Investigations on gluconeogenesis

  • Pathological biochemical changes in thermal injury

  • Southwest In Vivo Cellular and Molecular Cancer Imaging Center

  • In Vivo Evaluation of Myocardial Lipids
