The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training Program at UTSWMC/Parkland and Affiliated Hospitals are internationally reputable, and include three individuals who are or were the President of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently, our faculty are the following:

Drs. Zuniga, Ellis, Walker, Finn, Schwartz-Dabney and Sakamoto staff Parkland Memorial, Zale/Lipshy University, and Dallas Children's Medical Center hospitals. These hospitals are all on the campus of the UT Southwestern in Dallas.
Dr. Finn is the chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Dallas Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center where he is the primary attending staff OMS. This hospital is 12 miles from UT Southwestern in south Dallas.
Drs. Stella, Zide, Warner and Bell are the attending staff at John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth. The hospital is approximately 30 miles from UT Southwestern.
Dr. Sinn was the Chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In September of 2004, after 20 years as Chair and 30 years in the Division, he retired from the University but is still is an active faculty member in the training of OMS residents. The residents are involved in the care of his patients at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, where he continues to be an active private practitioner.
