The Department Of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas continues to be a leader of the ophthalmic community. In addition to our expanding outpatient facilities at our Main campus, we have satellite offices in North Dallas and Fort Worth.
The Department's superb faculty of clinicians and scientists offers consultative and referral services in virtually every medical and surgical area of ophthalmic care. We are currently accepting applications for the following position:
Clinic Staff Supervisor
Will supervise all levels of ophthalmology Clinic Staff Assistants and Clinic Staff Coordinator(s), ensuring appropriate guidelines are followed. Must have high school diploma or GED, five years experience in patient care environment, and successful completion of UT Southwestern supervisory training course within 12 months of employment.

Ophthalmic Medical Technologists
Must have strong ophthalmic and supervisory skills to manage ophthalmic technicians/assistants, train staff, audit and implement the Electronic Medical Record and oversee daily operations.
LASIK/Keratorefractive Technicians
Will assist with the pre and post operative examination and testing as well as use/set up of lasers and assisting during surgery.
Ophthalmic Assistants and Technicians
JCAHPO certification preferred but not required.
