Faculty members of the Department of Clinical Nutrition who are also registered/licensed dietitians are available for consultation in the following areas:

  1. Patient Services: Medical nutrition therapy is provided to individuals or families to help treat or prevent conditions such as coronary heart disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions, weight issues and more. Call 214-645-2800 to schedule an appointment in the Aston Center Clinic (see map).

    The clinical research arm of the Heart and Lipid Disease Management Clinic is located in the Allied Health Sciences building. Patients may also be seen here for specialized care in heart and lipid disorders.


  2. Research Support Services: Faculty members may be consulted to assist in the design and implementation of nutrition/dietary components of clinical research. Call 214-648-1520.

  3. Industry: Developing nutrition labels for food products and computerized analyses of menus and recipes for restaurants and books are some of the services available. Speakers for events and wellness programs may also be available. Call 214-648-1520 for more information.
