Competitive Student Scholarships

Pearson Benjamin Cummings Allied Health Student Scholarship 
Students should self nominate, no limit to number of applications from SSHP.  Applications must be submitted to Pearson by early November.

Schermerhorn Scholarship
Three scholarships awarded by SSHP.  Applications must be submitted to the Academic Affairs Committee in late January, 1 nomination per SHP program.  

Ask a faculty member for more information.

 

Association of Allied Health Professions Scholarship of Excellence (ASAHP) 
Applications must be submitted to the Academic Affairs Committee in late April;1 student will be nominated from SSHP.

Texas Association of Advisors for the Health Professions Achievement Award 
Applications must be submitted to the  Academic Affairs Committee in early November, 1 student will be nominated from SHP.

Texas Society of Allied Health Professions (TSAHP) 
Applications must be submitted to the TSAHP in early May.  Nominations by each department, there is no limit to number of nominations.

Students should report all computing issues, including: password  resets, printer issues, workstation maintenance issues, etc. between the hours of 7:30 a.m.–5:15 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please tell the technical support specialist your name, school and program. Report your issue concisely, and include a contact phone number and e-mail address where you can be reached for follow-up.

Help sessions are available for students who need computing support:
Location: D1.204 (next to the medical student mailboxes)
Date/Time: Monday & Friday:  3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
                  Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday:  8:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m.
