University Hospital - St. Paul is a 300-bed private facilty located on the northwest quadrant of the Harry Hines Boulevard and Inwood Road intersection, across the street from UT Southwestern's medical center. SPUH's patient population provides unique opportunities for residents to care for lung transplant patients, adult cystic fibrosis, cardiac transplant and heart failure, and complex rheumatological cases. Numerous sub-specialty rotations are becoming available for interested residents. UTSW's internal medicine training program staffs four ward teams and four ICU teams.
