The Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Program in the Department of Pathology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas is a ComACC-accredited 1- or 2-year program that prepares PhDs, MD/PhDs, or MDs for a career in the clinical pathology subspecialty of clinical chemistry and for taking the board exam in clinical chemistry administered by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry (ABCC).

Requirements:

  • M.D. degree (Physician candidate must be eligible for a Texas institutional permit).
  • Ph.D. in a biological science, preferably biochemistry or clinical chemistry

Prior to completion of the Fellowship program, the Fellow will be required to attain a satisfactory score on a Comprehensive Examination.

Salary commensurate with level of training and experience.

Applications for the UTSW Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Program will be accepted between 1 Jul 08 and 31 Dec 08 for a 1 Jul 09 start date. The offer for this Fellowship training will be provided before 1 Mar 09 to the applicant selected by the Selection Committee.
