Weather in Dallas

In the fall and winter months of November thru February, temperatures can sometimes fall below freezing, although the average winter temperature ranges from a high of 67°Fahrenheit (about 20° Celsius) to a low of 36° F (about3° C).  You will need a warm, preferably wool, coat and some sweaters during these months.  Summer temperatures average 90°F (32°C), but often go over 100°F (38°C) in July and August.  The remainder of the year averages about 80°F (28°C).

It rarely snows in Dallas; however, ice and sleet accompany some winter storms.  Most of the year the sun shines brightly and the weather encourages outdoor activities such as biking, swimming, horseback riding and other sports.
