EMERGENCIES IF YOU NEED IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE IN A MEDICAL OR POLICE EMERGENCY, DIAL 9-1-1 ON ANY TELEPHONE. This number is used throughout the U.S. to get help in a serious emergency. Explain the situation to the 911 operator. The police and/or paramedics will be dispatched immediately and you will be given instructions regarding what to do until they arrive. This service should be used in serious or life threatening emergencies only. HOSPITALS
If the emergency is an illness or injury that may not be life threatening but requires immediate medical attention, you may go to the Parkland Memorial Hospital Emergency Room at 5201 Harry Hines Blvd. or the emergency room of a hospital closest to you.

PHARMACIES The Campus Pharmacy located in the Aston Ambulatory Care Center (5303 Harry Hines) offers a 15% discount to students, fellows, and faculty who present a UT Southwestern I.D. card.
