Fees for H-1B petitions

 

 1.  $320 for H-1B Applicant.    
 

If the fee is to be paid by the department, you will need to submit to Accounting a copy of the Department

   
  of Homeland "specialty occupation" letter (#4 on the checklist) along with the CKR.    
       
   Check should be payable to Department of Homeland Security    
 

If the fee is to be paid by the department, you will need to submit to Accounting a copy of the Department of Homeland "specialty occupation" letter (#4 on the checklist) along with the CKR.

   
       
       
 2.  $300 total for dependents filing in the U.S.    
       
   Seperate check should be made payable to Department of Homeland Security.  There is no fee for dependents currently living outside the U.S.         
       
       
 3.  $1,000 expedited processing fee, if desired. Expedited processing ensures that the USCIS will process the case in 15 working days.    
  Check should be payable to Department of Homeland Security    
       
 4.  $500 Anti-fraud fee.    
       
   This fee must be paid by the department. Check should be made payable to Department of Homeland Security. Click here to download form to attach to CKR which will serve as documentation for the Accounting Dept.    

    

Payment of fees
Applicant must pay dependent filing fee.

If payment of H-1B fee or expedite fee will decrease applicant's salary below the minimum required wage, the department must pay the fees. Otherwise, applicants are generally expected to pay their own fees.
