Outside Summer (and other) Research Programs

A number of organizations support medical student research opportunities. While similar in scope to the programs here at UT Southwestern, these may have attributes that make them attractive to specific students. First, unlike the UT Southwestern programs, the outside programs may permit considerable flexibility in terms of the sites at which the research is conducted. Second, these are all competitive programs. As such, successful competition for spots supported by these programs is itself quite a distinction.

This is not intended to be a comprehensive listing. Please contact me and I will add any other programs that are not listed.
