The Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is known nationally and internationally for excellence in patient care, physician education, and biomedical research. Although serving primarily as a tertiary care service for patients referred by other physicians, the faculty also care for patients with common diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Their knowledge of the latest advances in dermatological research is coupled with established experience in patient care, thus providing the most optimal treatment available.
