Making an Appointment

General and Pediatric Dermatology appointments can be made by calling (214) 645-2400.   The General Dermatology Office is located on the UT Southwestern extended campus at 6263 Harry Hines Boulevard on the 3rd Floor of the Clinical Building I (DF Building). Appointments can also be made by emailing us at DermSchedule@email.swmed.edu.

Skin Surgery and Oncology appointments can be made by calling (214) 645-8950.  The clinic is located at 6263 Harry Hines Blvd., 3rd Floor, Suite 108.

Clinical Center for Cosmetic Dermatology appointments can be made by calling (214)645-8989.  The clinic is located at 6263 Harry Hines Blvd., 4th Floor, Suite 120.

Regular hours for our patient offices are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  In order to accommodate our patients, the Department of Dermatology offers early morning hours on some weekdays.  Please call our receptionist to obtain information about these special office hours.  For your convenience, there is free designated patient parking adjacent to the building.

Our physicians see patients by appointment only.  We request that you let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.

Telephone Calls

Although a high volume of telephone calls are received by our clinical office each day, we make every attempt to return your call on the day it was made.  Messages left with the receptionist will be returned as promptly as possible.

Emergencies

Although emergencies are uncommon in Dermatology, they do occur. Therefore, a 24-hour answering service is provided for our patients.  Your call will be answered by one of our faculty members or resident physicians.  Our 24-hour telephone number is (214) 645-2400.
