The Melanoma Center is staffed by a team of physicians representing a variety of surgical and medical specialties, who offer a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic service for patients with melanoma.  Patients or their physicians can inquire about the service by calling (214) 645-8950.   Patient needs are determined and then scheduled with the appropriate individuals to provide services as quickly as possible.  Patients are routinely evaluated by a dermatologist and dermatopathologist in the Pigmented Lesion Clinic (see link at left) as well as the other members of the Center team.  Recommendations are then made to the patient and his/her referring physician. Therapy and long-term follow-up care is coordinated with the referring physician.  This is the only center of its kind in the region.
