The Department of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas has the following positions available:
                                                                                         

Full-time Research Position (06329)
Assistant or Associate Professor of Dermatology
UT Southwestern Medical Center

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Dermatology, is seeking a full-time researcher to establish an independent research program in the department.

The candidate must have postdoctoral experience in a content area of relevance to investigative dermatology.  The candidate must also have an established publication record, and if an MD or MD/Ph.D., a commitment to teaching and involvement with patient care.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable.

Full-time Clinical Position (06328)
Assistant or Associate Professor of Dermatology
UT Southwestern Medical Center

The candidate must have an M.D. degree, board certification in Dermatology or eligibility, and a license to practice in the State of Texas. The candidate must also have an interest and experience in teaching residents and medical students.

Will establish a clinical practice in Dermatology.  Attend on the inpatient consult service.  Assist in the supervision and training of residents and medical students.  Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable.

Part-time Clinical Position (07354)
Clinical Instructor of Dermatology
UT Southwestern Medical Center

The candidate must have licensure to practice medicine in the State of Texas and eligibility for Board Certification in Dermatology.  Interest in teaching residents and medical students.

Duties are to assist in the supervisior and training of residents and medical students at our Parkland Hospital Outpatient Clinic.  Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research.  

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable.

Associate Professor of Dermatology

The candidate must have an M.D. degree, board certification in Dermatology, and a license to practice in the State of Texas. The candidate must also have an interest and experience in teaching residents and medical students.

Responsible for General Dermatology Clinic oversight and management as Medical Director. Will also establish a clinical practice of dermatology and teach and attend on the inpatient consulting service. Assist in the supervision and training of residents, physician assistants, and medical students. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable.
