| The Department of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas has the following positions available: Part-time Clinical Position Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor of Dermatology The candidate must have an M.D. degree, be eligible for board certification in Dermatology, and a license to practice in the State of Texas. The candidate must also have an interest and experience in teaching residents and medical students. The Candidate will attend and oversee patient care of residents and medical students in our Parkland General Dermatology Outpatient Clinic on a weekly basis. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable. Kim B. Yancey, M.D. _____________________________________________________________________ Part-time Clinical Position (06217, 06278, 08211) The candidate must have an M.D. degree, be eligible for board certification in Dermatology, and a license to practice in the State of Texas. The candidate must also have an interest and experience in teaching residents and medical students. Assist in the supervision and training of residents and medical students at our Parkland Hospital Outpatient Clinic. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable. Kim B. Yancey, M.D. _____________________________________________________________________ Full-time Clinical Position (06330) The candidate must have an M.D. degree, board certification in Dermatology, and a license to practice in the State of Texas. The candidate must also have an interest and experience in teaching residents and medical students. Responsible for General Dermatology Clinic oversight and management as Medical Director. Will also establish a clinical practice of dermatology and teach and attend on the inpatient consulting service. Assist in the supervision and training of residents, physician assistants, and medical students. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research. Yancey, M.D. ________________________________________________________________________ Full-time Research Position (07345 & 08176) The candidate must have Postdoctoral experience in an area related to investigative dermatology, an established publication record, and if MD or MD/PhD commitment to teaching and involvement with patient care. Establish independent research program, and if MD or MD/PhD, teaching medical students & residents and establishing a patient care practice. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable. Kim B. Yancey, M.D. _____________________________________________________________________ Full-time Clinical Position (055) The candidate must have an M.D. degree, completed a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship, eligibility for board certification, and a license to practice in the State of Texas. The candidate must also have an interest and experience in teaching residents and medical students. Establish and direct an academic clinical practice in Pediatric Dermatology at CMC in Dallas, with a primary appointment in the Department of Dermatology. Establish, direct, and serve on a consulting service for inpatients at CMC. Direct education programs for residents (dermatology and pediatrics) and medical students at UT Southwestern/CMC. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and the starting date is negotiable. Kim B. Completion of a ACGME accredited Procedural Dermatology fellowship or recognized Mohs Micrographic Surgery training program. Interest in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students. Responsible for establishing a practice in Mohs Surgery, post-Mohs repair. Opportunities exist to establish a practice in lasers and cosmetic procedures and to initiate and pursue clinical research. Oversee patient care of fellows and residents in our Skin Surgery clinics. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing and/or lectures.
