Postdoctoral position available

We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals interested in cancer biology and stem cell biology to investigate early, initiating genetic and microenvironmental events that regulate tumorigenesis.  Our research focuses on: (1) identification of the cell origin and (2) elucidating the roles of microenvironment in tumor development.  We dissect these cellular and molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis from a developmental perspective using Neurofibromatosis Type I (NF1), a common tumor predisposition human genetic disorder, as a model.  The laboratory is a collaborative effort between the Department of Dermatology and the Department of Developmental Biology which offers an extraordinarily rich environment in both basic and translational research.  Candidates should hold a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or M.D. degree with good communication skills.  Interested candidates should send an updated C.V., names and contact information for three professional references to:

Lu Q. Le, M.D., Ph.D.
