Postdoc position-chromatin regulation of neural development
A postdoc position is available in Dr. Jiang Wu’s lab to study chromatin regulation of mammalian neural stem cell self-renewal, differentiation, as well as post-mitotic neuronal development. The immediate focus is the function of the prototypical SWI/SNF-like ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complexes in key signaling pathways that regulate neural development (Neuron 56:94,2007; Neuron 55:171,2007). A combination of proteomics, genomics and genetic approaches will be used to investigate the molecular mechanisms of chromatin regulation of gene expression essential for neural development.
