The Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is comprised of a large group of nationally recognized faculty members with expertise in virtually all aspects of cardiovascular clinical care and state-of-the-art research.  Directed by Joseph A. Hill, MD, PhD, the Division holds itself to the highest standards of patient care, teaching, and investigation.

A team of faculty cardiologists at UT Southwestern Medical Center offers vast clinical expertise and scientific insight to aid patients suffering from known or suspected heart disease. Represented among team members are specialists in virtually every aspect of modern cardiology, including the management of all forms of heart disease, their predisposing risk factors, and their complications.

Patients of UT Southwestern’s faculty are managed at affiliated hospitals (Parkland Memorial Hospital, Zale Lipshy University Hospital, St Paul University Hospital, and the Dallas VA Medical Center).  Our patients benefit from access to some of the most advanced therapies available, including conventional and investigational medications, interventional procedures, and implantable devices.
