Patients in our Center are under the care of a team of highly-competent and skilled physicians who are on the faculty at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.  All of our physicians are on-site and can be called upon as needed to diagnose and treat patients using a coordinated team approach.  Included in this outstanding breast care team are dedicated breast specialists in the disciplines of breast imaging, genetics and risk assessment, medical oncology, surgical oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, nutrition counseling, therapeutic radiology, psychosocial support, and pathology.

Each of our physicians serves a teaching role.  In many cases, these academic physicians are also laboratory and clinical scientists, who are actively involved in breast disease research aimed at developing new therapeutic approaches to improve breast care.  Breast Center physicians are also aiding in the search for scientific insights that will lead to an ultimate cure for breast cancer.  Included among these physician scientists and their collaborators are some of the nation's finest minds in modern medicine.
