Our Center's activities are directed at providing you with the utmost in advanced and progressive care, offering such services as

     • State-of-the-art diagnostic technology, including 3-D digital mammography, high resolution breast ultrasound, magnetic resonance mammography (MRM) , and stereotactic breast biopsy guidance;

     • The latest advances in minimally-invasive breast conservation surgery;

     • Genetic risk assessment and counseling for individuals from cancer-prone families who may have inherited a gene predisposing them to breast cancer development;

     • A Surveillance Clinic to ensure that women requiring close follow-up and monitoring, including those at high-risk of developing breast cancer, are watched for the earliest signs of cancer;

     • Breast cancer prevention drug trials as well as clinical treatment trials to broaden our armamentarium in the war against breast cancer;

     • Nutritional counseling and dietary support for women whose poor eating habits may have played a role in breast cancer development;

     • Rapid lab analysis after a patient has had a breast lump biopsied by fine needle aspiration;

     • An array of individualized educational and psychosocial support programs that are designed to help patients emotionally adjust from the moment of diagnosis through long-term followup care;

     • A multidisciplinary team conference where specialists in different areas of breast care meet to discuss a patient's treatment plan; and

     • A Lymphedema Clinic for patients experiencing the discomfort of arm swelling after cancer treatment.
