Q: What is ERGO

A: ERGO is a Web-based system that allows forms and/or grants to be submitted electronically through institutional processes

Benefits:

  • Automatically populates forms/grants with information (ex. name, title, publications, honors, awards, ect.) collected from users and from a variety of institutional sources (ex. Faculty Information System, HRMS).
  • Electronically routes forms through institutional processes and departments.  Eliminates the need to manually transport forms for approval.
  • Stores all forms in an electronic storage cabinet. This will reduce paper costs and will eliminate the need to purchase and maintain filing cabinets to store paper documents.
  •  ERGO provides the user with the ability to print forms and/or grants in their institutional paper format.
  • Provides the user with real-time form tracking. This will allow users to watch their forms move through institutional approval processes.
  • Specialized search function allows the user to instantaneously access and retrieve any previously completed form.
  • Has a built-in audit function for approved users.
