At this time, the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling is not processing applications for admissions to the undergraduate program.
The curriculum for the Rehabilitation Services degree program provides students with both the knowledge and the skills that they will need to work in the rehabilitation field. The core courses required for graduation focus on interpersonal communication, vocational evaluation/work-adjustment services, and community rehabilitation resources and settings.
In addition to classroom instruction, degree requirements include two supervised clinical practicum experiences in agencies that emphasize rehabilitation services. One of these sites may be University Rehabilitation Service operated by the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling.
